Saltwater Fishing Charters
Overview
The cool waters of the North Pacific are just down the road from Terrace, with some of the best saltwater fishing on the Northern British Columbia coast. Our saltwater excursions are chartered out of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, from May through early September. You’ll find Chinook (kings), Coho (silvers), halibut, lingcod, and both king and Dungeness crabs.
You will be angling from a white, 22′ Grady Seafarer, fully equipped with fishing gear and safety equipment. You can plug herring for Chinook, fly fish for Coho, or go jigging for halibut, lingcod, or bottom fish. At the end of the day, we pull the crab traps and load up with crabs.
Prince Rupert – Kitimat
Open from June 1 to August 31 for saltwater fishing, these cruises take you inside the coastal islands. Here, the sea teems with crabs, shrimp, clams, halibut, and bottom fish. Above them, hungry Chinook, Coho, sockeye, and chum salmon can be found. In the approach waters to Prince Rupert, spectacular saltwater fishing opportunities abound next to breathtaking scenery in the Douglas and Work Channels.
